Walt Disney Travel Company makes available a comprehensive program through Travel Guard that provides coverage for you before and during your trip, subject to certain exclusions and limitations.

Land/Air Program - $68.95 per Adult
(Children 17 and under are included in the coverage at NO additional charge when all adults in reservation purchase coverage).

Trip Cancellation & Interruption
Covers you up to 100% of insured trip cost if you must cancel or interrupt your trip due to unforeseen covered circumstances. Also, includes coverage for:

  • Airfare purchased as part of a package, through a travel agency or your own (except if your flight is changed, cancelled or delayed by airline).
  • Involuntary termination or layoff after the effective date of coverage and you have been an active employee with the same employer for at least one year. (this coverage is not available to residents of Washington State and Pennsylvania).
  • Being called into active military service, or having military leave revoked, or being reassigned within 10 days of departure date.

$20,000 Accident and Sickness Medical Expense
Primary coverage pays for doctor, hospital, ambulance services and prescription medication. No daily limits or deductibles.

$600 Trip Delay
Reimburses you up to $200 a day for reasonable additional expenses (meals and lodging) due to trip delay.

$2,000 Baggage & Personal Effects Loss
Covers items that are lost, stolen or damaged during your vacation.

$500 Baggage Delay

A schedule of your coverage will be sent to you with the confirmation of your package. Coverage may be purchased up to the time of final payment and becomes effective upon our receipt of the payment of the premium.
