Here is a list of answers to the most frequently asked questions regarding Guest Services and more at the Walt Disney World Resort.
Q. Where can we find information for Guests with disabilities?
A. A website has been created to find information specifically for our Guests with disabilities. These pages are intended to provide a general overview of the experiences available at the Walt Disney World Resort along with specific information about disability access. The pages are presented in html text only, so they can be read by alternative browser applications. The section can be reached by visiting http://disneyworld.disney.go.com/guests-with-disabilities/.
Q. Are there places where I can leave my pets at the Walt Disney World Resort?
A. With the exception of service dogs for Guests with disabilities, pets are not permitted in the Theme Parks or hotels, or on Resort or Theme Park buses. They may, however, stay in one of five (one outside the entrance to each Theme Park and one at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground) air-conditioned kennels, each of which is a member of the American Boarding Kennel Association.
Q. What child-care and baby-sitting services are available?
A. Treat your children to magical Disney activities they're sure to never forget. At Children's Activity Centers your children may enjoy spectacular fun. Take advantage of a professional caretaking staff who can supervise your children in your Resort room or your children may enjoy spectacular fun at one of the Children's Activity Centers. With computer games, Disney movies, dinner and snacks in an environment that is undeniably Disney, kids ages 4-12 are certain to find tons of fun - while you have an adult's night out for yourself. Child Activity Centres are located at most Walt Disney World Deluxe Resorts and are open for use by all Guests. However, space is limited and advance reservations are highly recommended.
Q. Is there anything special I can plan for a birthday or special occasion?
A. A variety of activities are available at the Walt Disney World Resort to help make birthdays more special and memorable. For instance, your family may wish to dine with the Disney Characters at one of many character breakfasts, lunches, or dinners.
