Guests staying at one of three Disneyland® Resort hotel properties are now being issued a key card that provides exciting options and ease during their visits. The "Key to the Magic" card works as a hotel room key card and identifies the holder as a Disneyland Resort guest. In addition, hotel guests can use it as a charge-to-the-room card when shopping at select stores in Downtown Disney® and at all major shops and restaurants inside Disneyland and Disney California Adventure® Theme Parks. Cards cannot be used at outdoor vending locations.
Key cards can also be used when shopping at Disney-owned and operated stores with electronic cash registers in Downtown Disney. Those include Marceline's Confectionary, World of Disney®, the Disney Vault 28 and Disney pin carts.
